The Fairhoper’s Community Park, located in the heart of downtown Fairhope, is a favorite gathering place for families and guests of all ages and interests. Customers are greeted by the friendly and gigantic dinosaur statue, which serves as a pleasant backdrop for photographs when they first arrive at the park. Both tiny toddlers and older children will find something to enjoy and explore on the two sets of enormous and colorful playground equipment available.

On a hot day, you may cool yourself in the pirate-themed splash pad or make your own beats on the colorful musical instruments available. There are lots of shady spaces to sit down and rest in this fenced-in park, which contains well-established trees, covered wooden swings, and two pavilions for your enjoyment. Another option for parking is the enormous public parking lot on Church Street, which is slightly north of the main entrance to the park and offers plenty of space. This parking lot offers a large number of spaces, however it does fill up during peak hours, particularly around lunchtime and after school.

Due to its proximity to both the playground equipment and the splash pad, the Fairhoper’s Community Park is a favorite destination for children’s birthday parties throughout the year in Fairhope. A first come, first served principle applies to the two pavilions; reservations cannot be made in advance for either of them.
