North Beach Park: A Wonderful Park for a Beach Day

Its North Beach Park boasts a paved walking track, white sandy beach with spectacular views of Mobile Bay, pier, and duck pond. North Beach Park is located on the north end of Fairhope and is accessible by car or on foot. A total of approximately 500 kinds of trees may be seen on the Beach Park Tree Trail, including the Alabama State Champion Swamp Tuplelo and the Hazel Adler. As a result of its numerous picturesque features, North Beach Park is a favourite backdrop for many professional photographers in the area. All dogs must be kept on a leash while in the park. Even though the North Beach Park is home to a large number of ducks and geese that roam freely, residents and visitors are strongly advised not to feed the ducks or any other animals that may be encountered in the park. The playground equipment, which includes swings, a merry-go-round, and diggers for the beach, will be enjoyed by children. Picnic tables and covered pavilions are available for use throughout the park, as are picnic benches scattered around the area. Obtain a vantage point beneath the shade of a great oak tree and take in the splendor of Mobile Bay’s surroundings.

The North Beach Park, which is located on the north side of the fountain and rose garden, is just across the street from the Fairhope Municipal Pier. Parking is accessible for the general public within the park. During the summer months, non-residents are required to pay an admission fee to the park. The Fairhope Beach Pavilion can be rented for a variety of events such as birthday parties, family reunions, memorial services, wedding receptions, and festivals.
