Eastern Shore Art Center: A Cultural Treasure in Fairhope

Fairhope, Alabama’s Eastern Shore Art Center is a contemporary art gallery with a location in the heart of downtown. The ESAC is comprised of five galleries, four studios, and a gift store, all of which showcase prominent artists from all over the country and the world. The monthly art displays feature a diverse range of materials, including acrylics, watercolors, oils, ceramics, sculptures, driftwood art, and other creative expressions. The First Friday Art Walk in historic downtown Fairhope kicks off the month-long series of exhibitions that rotate every month. An outstanding Community Outreach program, a Gallery Gift Shop, adult and children classes/workshops, an annual outdoor festival, and the use of the building for special events are just a few of the highlights of the Art Center’s offerings.

The ESAC is open from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Tuesdays through Saturdays. Guests are welcome to explore the gallery during regular business hours or to make arrangements for a private docent-led tour by appointment. During Fairhope’s First Friday Art Walk, you can take a tour of the building after hours. Visitors may keep up to date on the latest exhibits and meet other art enthusiasts in the neighborhood at the First Friday Art Walk, which takes place at 6 p.m. on the first Friday of every month.
