The Foley Art Center was founded in 1966 in the historic Claude Peteet Real Estate building in Foley. Over 150 artists and artisans from across the southeast make up this non-profit Arts & crafts gallery. Their handcrafted items are available for sale on a consignment basis.

There are many available gift ideas at the Foley Art Centre, including other unique original artwork. Some of these are prints, photographs, sculptures, ceramics, wood carvings, and jewelry. Others include fabrics, stained glass, porcelain, fused glass, and home-produced candles. For more than four decades, the Foley Art Center has hosted two annual events.
