River Delta Marina & Campground: An Amazing Place to Visit

Alabama is known for many things, including its many parks with great attractions, each one offering a different experience from the others. The River Delta Marina & Campground is one of those parks, essentially now a Mobile County Park in the state. 

The Park is located in the city of Creola, and it has seen some major upgrades made to it following a purchase by the Mobile County Commission for the sum of $1 million. The money was gotten through Coast Impact grants, and the upgrade was made as far back as 2012.

The upgrade changed the outlook of the park, including facilities such as Bathhouses, laundry, Swimming pool, Groceries, and canoe rentals. The upgrades put in could have one mistaking the park for a hotel. Tourists that come to River Delta Marina & Campground are usually fish enthusiasts as the park offers more in the way of fishery and fishkeeping. The River Delta Marina & Campground is known for its assorted collection of fishes, including but not limited to the bluegill, the trout, catfish, and the popular croaker fish. At this park, people are welcome to try their luck fishing for some of the animals available. This is not to say however that the forestry is not to be appreciated, spanning 50,000+ acres with several animals like deers, turkey, rabbits, squirrels, and even hogs.
